Zoo Trip

We went for a little trip to the zoo to kick off the school year (this was a couple of weeks ago and I am just now getting to posting...) We rode the zoo train for the first time and it was fun. It could have been a longer ride for me... I needed to relax! The kids enjoyed the petting zoo tremendously! They even got to pet an armadillo :)

  2. Petting an armadillo? That just sounds like a fantastically fun time! Stopping over from SITS this morning! Hope your holiday weekend is wonderful! My son loves the zoo. If I took him once a week that wouldn't be too often in his mind : ).

  4. We were at the zoo just a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't bear it in the summertime so we waited until it was cooler to go.

  5. We don't have a zoo close by since we moved which makes me a little sad. I think it's fun to walk around and see the animals.

  8. Great way to start of the school year! I think armadillos are such interesting creatures, never got to touch one yet though. I have a little stuffed one though. We love our zoo and always learn something new every time we go practically. Here's a link to a post about our latest trip: http://zemeks.blogspot.com/2009/11/things-we-learned-at-cleveland-zoo.html
