Well, I have started on the skirt(cut some of the squares). I am using scraps to make a mini trial version for DD's American Girl doll. Here is a photo of the (WalMart) fabrics I am using. If it goes well and DD likes it, I may try it with some nicer fabrics. :) I will be happily sewing over the next few days!
