Here is another very small project, an embellished dish towel. Homeschooling has been keeping me from sewing, much to my frustration! However, the homeschooling is going VERY well. My DS is like a new child and has his happy back :) I really can't ask for more than that!
This is one project that has been on my to do list since July when I found this cute fabric about friendship. The one section says "The journey to a friend's house is never too far to travel". This is just a little gift for a friend :)

That's really cute. I am so envious of crafty people because I'm not. Did someone teach you how to do things like that or did you learn yourself?
My mother taught me to sew (she sewed clothes mostly) and then she got me into quilting (so I could make her a quilt!). After years of going to quilting meeting, I now make up my own stuff, like this dishtowel :) hope that answers your question:) I'm convinced that if I can do it anyone can- give it a try!
What a fun pattern!

Glad to hear home schooling is going well. Nothing like having a happy child back is there?
